Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has been established for the Comprehensive Development of Bhubaneswar, Khorda, Jatni Municipal areas, and different wings are functioning under BDA. The Engineering wing is one of them. There are 4(four) Engineering Divisions and one Horticulture wing in BDA. Each Divisions and Horticulture wing are headed by Executive Engineers & Chief Horticulturist respectively. The Overall charge of the Engineering branch lies with the Chief Engineer-cum-Engineer Member. The Engineering wings are responsible for implementing different projects like Housing, Commercial, Horticulture and the infrastructure facilities. The list of ongoing & Upcoming Projects and its salient features are indicated below.

A)  HOUSING

  • Construction of 21 No’s HIG Duplex at Pokhariput Phase-II.
  • Land Area-1.76 Acre, Project Cost-Rs.682.81 lakh.

G)  REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
  • Master plan for Redevelopment of Ashoka Market, City Bus Stand & adjoining area of Bhubaneswar Railway Station has been finalized and presented before Hon’ble Chief Minister, Odisha on 12.02.2015. It is proposed to take up the work under PPP mode .
